The single is her bolshy response to her experience of cat-calling.
French-American pop artist Ariane takes no prisoners on her new single ‘Museum’. This latest track is the fifth outing by the Berklee College grad.
Written in response to her experience of cat-calling, ‘Museum’ sees the young singer-songwriter retake her power in a situation that many women like herself encounter on a daily basis. Taking inspiration from the “uncomfortable, discriminating and dehumanising” feelings that stem from such incidents, Ariane twists its negativity on its head by deploying infectious hooks and empowering lyrics.
With an inspirational message to all that have been in a similar position, ‘Museum’ sees Ariane state – for both herself and others – that she will not stand for being objectified by others.
‘Museum’ is available now via French Girl.
