Ask Carol return with a bang on their new single ‘Run With You’. It’s their first release of the year and begins a period of releases in the run up to the release of their debut album in 2021!
Underpinned by a chunky, pounding rhythm not dissimilar to that of fellow noisy duo The Kills, ‘Run With You’ captures a bolshy swagger with its irresistible rhythm that make any listeners feel as bad ass as it sounds. Alluring vocals steer the track forth, slinky at the verse before singer Karoline wails with guttural force come the chorus. You won’t forget this Norwegian pair after this.
“The song was written long before these challenging corona times, but lately the song has come to mean something more to us,” share Ask Carol of the new single. “We feel it represents a longing for just going away, to get away from it all, a feeling that has grown more intense as we all have to stay home for such a long time…”
