The track is the outfits first release since 2019 debut album Happy Scary.

Latest release ‘Rubberband’ seems to perfectly encapsulate everything that Big Fun are about. Huge whirring synths, and distorted and clashing sounds that shouldn’t reeeaally work but in their own beautiful way feel quite at home in the weird and wonderful world of the outfit. This is brash. This is uncompromising. This is the unfiltered vision of an act that are operating by their own rule set, and are crafting eclectic electronic tunes that are far more catchy and memorable than they have any right to be.
