The track is from the outfit’s new self-titled EP.
Kevin and Jackie make up the Los Angeles based Blood Honey, a sharp edged, ice cool alt pop duo who specialise in moody, electronic soundscapes and thoroughly immersive and engaging songwriting.
Their new self-titled EP is full of tracks that exemplify the qualities that they possess, and focus track ‘Don’t Wait Up For Me’ might just be the most impressive of the lot. From it’s brooding, hypnotising nature to its marriage of driving synths and a much more dark and foreboding bassline, the track is bold and imposing, while maintaining a floaty dreaminess that feels almost transcendent. Having only released their debut single in early 2021, Blood Honey look to have a real grip over their sound and seem to have a lot more to offer going forward.
