bloody/bath showcase a brooding and atmospheric sound on ‘Friends’

Channeling the kind of underlying intensity and swagger as acts such as Citizen and Basement, albeit with a much more lo-fi, laid-back, bedroom pop aesthetic bloody/bath has caught our attention with the brand new single ‘Friends’.

The track never really gets out of first gear tonally or sonically but it never really has to. Its low-key and underlying dark atmosphere allows the track to bubble beneath the surface, resulting in something that comes across quite chilled and laid-back but also almost kind of machiavellian and brooding. We’re sure that this track is a catalyst for more of the same from bloody/bath following his debut two track release, and look forward to hearing more.
