The track is the thoughtful and exciting artist’s third new single of 2023.
On hew powerful and stirring new single ‘Three Weeks Ahead’, BROCKHOFF explores the dangerous nature of completely falling for somebody in a new relationship or situation and waiting, or rather hoping, for them to embody those same feelings and emotions and wind up in the same situation as you.
The track does a great job of creating this dichotomy between it’s more soft and delicate side, before rapidly amping up the intensity and and growing louder and more all-encompassing, doing a great job of showcasing the kind of unstoppable intensity of these feelings and the way that they’re taking over with the artist not really having any kind of say or control over them. The dangerous optimism of the artist leaves them in a perilous situation, in over their head and delusional, hanging their hopes on a change of heart from their counterpart that may never even come, leading to potential heartbreak thanks to their misplaced optimism. On the whole this makes for a super engaging track that is equal parts intense, thoughtful and sobering throughout.
