Lyrically focussed on cyclic behaviour, so in other words doing the same thing over and over again and then being shocked when you don’t get different results. But, it’s got a self-reflective aspect to it, acknowledging that we’re all only human, that turns the track into a bit of a self-empowerment bop. We’re into it.
Vocally Char absolutely kills it, attitude is dripping from every syllable on this one. We also can’t ignore the rap verse, a complete curveball showcasing Char’s versatility and adds an extra level of freshness to the track. Pair that with the smooth brass section and a killer, production by the Roots Manuva producer ‘Wagga Man’.
