The closer from his upcoming LP Kid Krow sees the artist open up more than ever before
2019 was a seismic year for Conan Gray. The 21-year-old bedroom pop singer songwriter saw his star rise higher than ever, and he looks set to continue this immense run of form into 2020.
His first release of the new year is ‘The Story’, an emotionally candid piece of work that highlights the artist’s nuance in subtlety, while baring his soul to all. The track covers a litany of tough subjects such as the suburbs, bullying, sexual repression, and escape. Times can be tough, for Gray and often for fans alike, but as the artist reiterates, “It’s not the end of the story”.
