The track is the latest release from her upcoming 2023 debut album.
Since the second that we heard Daniella Binyamin‘s debut single ‘Grand Hotel’ earlier this year, we have been transfixed by her immersive, quirky sound and the gorgeous sense of personality and charm that is laced throughout it.
The artist’s new single ‘Out of Fuel’, is her third, following her sophomore ‘Toothpaste Kisses’, and does a really nice job of continuing to establish her unique sonic world, from her lush soundscapes to the candid intimacy of her vocals and writing. Each of her three initial releases feel so varied and different but have the artist’s distinctive fabric woven through them in a really alluring fashion. Her latest release has quite a bittersweet narrative, written about a faltering relationship that does more to bring you down than build you up, the track serves as a sense of catharsis. A world in which the artist can do or be whoever she wants, and experiment and express herself in whichever way she pleases. This is something that, as we know by now, Daniella can and will do to great effect, and has resulted in the third excellent release from the artist. With her debut album slated for release in 2023, it is going to be so much fun to hear what the excellent emerging artist has in store.
She says: “It’s sad and sensual and has a rather bold sound, but the theme of the song is actually very fragile and is about feeling insecure and small in a relationship. When I wrote it, it was like I entered another world, a world where I could do exactly what I wanted. It made me feel free to experiment a lot more.”
