darkDARK return with the atmospheric electro-pop of ‘Tell Them You’re Here’. The new single follows their recent remix of Nina Simone’s ‘New World Coming’.
Comprised of duo Genevieve and Chris, the pair combine their juxtaposing talents scoring for films and adverts and orchestral backgrounds to create a truly evocative sound in this project. ‘Tell Them You’re Here’ is a perfect introduction to their sound; conjuring thoughts of fellow electro-pop duo Purity Ring, this latest track ebbs and flows between skittish beats and shimmering synth tones for an atmosphere that is both chilly yet familiar.
Offset, with Genevieve’s glacial vocal, ‘Tell Them You’re Here’ is a mystical sojourn into their world.
