Boasting a unique indie pop style that is characterised by his unique personality and charm, UK singer-songwriter Drew Thomas has established himself as an artist with a catchy and thoughtful sound worth taking notice of.

The latest release from the artist is his new single ‘All My Friends’, an infectiously boppy release that belies the subtle sadness and darkness of its lyrics. Drew has always been one to pepper his catchy sound full of moments of nuance and authenticity, and lyrics about feeling left behind by those settling down all around you paint a relatable picture for so many. All in all, the track is more of what we have come to expect from Drew, an hugely catchy sound with the sense of poignant, earnest honesty and personality that he is lauded for.

“All My Friends is about watching all of your mates start to building homes, making families and having kids but refusing to settle down yourself. It’s about still having the party lifestyle and getting drunk every night but feeling left behind by the people you used to love.” Drew says of the track.

To me, it’s also had a deeper meaning the more I’ve played it because, for the LGBTQ+ community, it’s not as simple and straightforward as settling down whenever you want and naturally end up resenting stereotypical relationship culture as a result.”
