It’s all things go now in the lead up to the release of Eades’ debut EP Microcosmic Things. Tipped off by the release of latest track ‘Vivid Dreams’.

The new wave, post-punk five-piece are at their absolute best on this one, with a clear, concise and sharp as nails sound that’s undeniably promising. Throwing nods to the likes of The Strokes, The Walkmen and Public Access TV.

The track is built around a solid guitar line where traditionally you’d find a chorus and it works surprisingly well.

The track has been a long time coming, frontman Harry Jordan expands on the process, “this is probably the longest we spent working on a song, and one of the earliest songs written for the band. It’s been through countless version and mixes but I just didn’t want to ditch it. I knew there was something there, particularly in reference to the detailed lyrics written with a close friend of mine. It started almost drum and bass like but after a lot of jamming I think we got it somewhere we’re proud of.”
