At this point we’re not sure what more we could say about how good Elephant Castle is
It’s becoming hard to come up with things to say about Elephant Castle that we haven’t already. The artist has broken out as one of our favourite artists over the last few years, and has refused to miss the mark on any of his emergence in 2020.
‘Quicksand’ is the artist’s 10th release and continues to see the artist expand upon the innovative and engaging psychedelic rock sound that he has established. There is a very Elephant Castle feel to the sounds and shapes that are created, and on this occasion it is accented with organs and pianos, creating a care-free and liberating vibe on a track that is about precisely the opposite. These fun moments and juxtapositions are all part of what makes Elephant Castle such a joy to listen to, I’m not quite sure what superlatives I haven’t used to describe the artist yet so at this point I’m just going to let you listen to it and choose your own.
