Eliza Shaddad has released a statement of intent on new effort ‘One Last Embrace’, her darkest release to date.

Taking sounds of alt-rock, indie and grunge and mixing them together in an incandescent, fuzzy soundscape. Eliza means business.

If you’re a fan of distorted guitar riffs, pulsating drums and vocals to die for, this is a track for you. With nods to the likes of PJ Harvey and Veruca Salt, ‘One Last Embrace’ might be her most intricate work yet.

Speaking on the track, Eliza explains that “One Last Embrace is about a burning, swirling, completely irrational, totally overwhelming vortex of desire. That moment when you know something is wrong and over, but you want it all the same.”

The track is the second single to come form Eliza’s EP Sept ~ Dec and goes to show that her musical versatility is broader than we thought.

Take a listen and prepare to be amazed.
