At CLOUT, we heaped praise on Elizabeth Hume and her debut EP Wake Me Up When I’m Older last year, and the artist’s re-emergence with the release of brand new single ‘fact or fiction’ was something that delighted us when we found out of its existence.
The track does a great job of continuing to showcase the immersive and thoughtful charm of the artist’s sound, with her poetic and ambiguous writing style doing a great job of crafting a style that feels both inviting and candid but with multi-interpertable meaning. The emotion in the vocals and softness of the sound feel effortlessly captivating throughout, and the track does an incredible job of highlighting the artist’s distinctive charm and building anticipation for whatever she does next.
