The track is taken from forthcoming EP Keep Your Eyes Open.
Singer-songwriter Emma McGrath mixes up her sound with a heady dose of pop in her new single ‘Fall With You’. Practically prolific at this point, the young artist has been steadily releasing tracks and EPs since her 2014 debut (and she’s still only 19!)
Clearly with a knack for an instinctive hook, her latest single continues her momentum with palpable zeal. Infused with rich synth tones, such electronics bring a whole new flavour to McGrath’s sound – but that is not to say that her trademark guitar work has gone AWOL; fans will be pleased to hear that it’s still very much apparent in ‘Fall With You’. With toe-tapping rhythms and punchy beats, the track embodies the sentiment of relinquishing anxieties and taking risks.
“Sometimes you’ve got to fall to figure out where you’re going. When you do fall you realise that 99.9% of the time, it ends up in a good way,” says Emma of her new single. She also admits she was inspired by her mother in penning the song. “She can be afraid of change, and taking risks, so I wrote it with her in mind”.
‘Fall With You’ is available now via Young Poet Records. Emma McGrath’s new EP Keep Your Eyes Open is to be released 17th January 2020.
