On his brand new single ‘Butterfly’, Liverpool based singer-songwriter Euan Blackman continues to showcase his stirring sound and thoughtful writing, boasting a style that is seemingly tailor made for introspective road trips and thoughtful nights of contemplation and reminiscing over memories.

The track pulls you in from the moment it starts, its stripped-back aesthetic and charm allowing the artist’s raw and charming appeal to take centre stage and lull you into the artist’s folk storytelling, weaving a poignant narrative about finding a way to accept our flaws and grow as a result of it. There is a real depth and sense of clarity to the sound, making for a wonderfully engrossing listening experience that continues to signal Euan’s growth and evolution as an artist.

Euan adds “Butterfly is about accepting your flaws as an individual. I love songwriting that seems upbeat, but lyrically comes from a much darker place. I feel I’ve taken my sensibilities as a folk-storytelling-songwriter, and placed it into a whole new indie/alternative world with this EP project. Everything is much more ambitious sounding. I’m on a sonic path that I’m excited to continue to grow and develop.”
