Bristol outfit Glass Violet have been steadily building a following over the last few years, gradually releasing music and developing their indie rock-tinged sound.
Their latest release ‘A View from the Vale’ is the most driven and unique from them to date. Ambitious in scope and clocking in at just over six minutes long, the track is a cinematic journey that is steeped in grandeur and big moments. The track is divided into sections, but flows seamlessly in the same way that a movie would, developing and pressing forward until reaching its conclusion. ‘A View from the Vale’ points to the ambition and creativity of Glass Violet, and does a great job of establishing the outfit’s willingness to experiment and try something a bit different in order to make them stand out and offer something exciting and new.
