HAZY releases bouncy summer bop, ‘Swimming Closer’

For fans of the alt-pop, lo-fi sounds of early Mura Masa and more, this is one for you.

It will be the first headline tour for the 21-year-old singer-songwriter.

It might not be the perfect summer conditions right now, but ‘Swimming Closer (5th June)’ might just get you back into that summertime feeling we all deserve.

Bouncy and athemic in every capacity, the track was co-produced by Andy Gannon (Rudimental, Clean Bandit, Robbie Williams) and was written and recorded in HAZY’s bedroom itself.

Despite the optimistic, summery vibe that the track has, the underlying lyrical meaning explores the struggles that we’ve all experienced in one way or another throughout the COVID-19 period.
