The track is from the multi-national duo’s stirring self-titled debut EP
Following the release of the encouraging debut single ‘Behind the Wheel’ back in February, Helia Tatla, the creative and expressive project of French singer and musician Leah Attali and NYC guitarist and songrwriter Geoff Bradford, have followed up with the release of their self-titled debut EP, a broader and more expansive showcase of their moving appeal and thoughtful, intricate sound.
A highlight from the EP is ‘Servant’s Heart’, a cog in a narrative that runs throughout the release, exploring the human experience and universal themes that we can all relate to and resonate with. The track has a really endearing and moving tone to it throughout, imploring others to be more attentive and caring, and infusing the message with their gorgeous signature fusion of jazz, pop, and experimental sounds, giving it a real multi-faceted and flowing feel that embodies everything that makes the project feel so exciting. Whether it is for the nuanced sound, thoughtful lyrics, or the carefree charm and allure that radiates from the track throughout, there is a lot to love here, throughout ‘Servant’s Heart’ and Helia Tatla as a whole.
