The track sees the emerging UK outfit continue to define their sound.
Since their emergence last year, London-based High Eyes have established themselves and as an exciting outfit with a uniquely poised and personality-filled sound. Tracks like debut single ‘Graham Norton’ and its follow up ‘Rain’ have begun to show the promise of an outfit that could be destined for bigger things.
The latest addition to their arsenal is the new single ‘Sad Bad Go Away’, another energetic track that looks back to simpler times with a nostalgic lens, yearning for the sense of naivety of being young and having someone open your eyes to the world. There is more of a straight-laced, indie rock feel to the sound in comparison to their other work, but the track does an excellent job of continuing to build their sonic world and showcase the depth and range that High Eyes have.
