Jackie Giroux and Caelen Perkins are Jacklen Ro, a melodic, harmonising indie rock duo that possess a really endearing sense of earnest honesty and thoughtfulness that permeates their work.

On their new release ‘Time Bomb’, the duo examine a doomed relationship, and the way that we can tend to acknowledge that things aren’t going to last forever while just holding on while we can. The track has an affable sense of charm and a nice, stripped-back nature that highlights the charisma between the duo and the effortless way that their vocals meld together. ‘Time Bomb’ is a thoughtful new release that feels optimistic and warm, despite the doomed nature of its subject matter.

“‘Time Bomb’ is a song about a self destructive relationship that just feels so good.” The duo say of the track. “It is knowing that the fiery passion you have with someone is going to end, but not dwelling on that and enjoying it while you got it. It’s about accepting your own flaws and the flaws in others and just riding it all out.”
