James Alexander Bright has delivered a vibrant sonic adventure with new track ‘Go’.
The vibrancy of his music is something that reflects the Hampshire-based musicians sense of self – as he’s an illustrator by day. “I spend a lot of my day creating things visually and everyday life can be an assault on the senses,” says Bright. “Evening is my quiet time; time for my ears. Invariably I’m inspired by the things that people and creatures do in the dark.”
The music itself dithers along the line between hi-fi and lo-fi, but expertly so. Mixing hints of soul with pop and electro in a fascinating and enthralling way.
