And he’s just signed to Sunday Best Recordings!
Singer-songwriter JW Francis captures the frivolous energy of the Big Apple in new single ‘New York’. Oh, and he’s the newest signing to Sunday Best Recordings – what a peach!
Oklahoma-born and Paris-bred, it ended up being the fast-paced hustle and bustle of NYC that thrilled Francis so much that he had to make it home. Channelling the relentless energy of the city in its frantic rhythm, buoyant riffs and rattle-stop vocal, ‘New York’ is a love letter to getting lost in the rat race – for better or for worse.
“I’m a licensed tour guide of NYC,” shares Francis. “This place has taught me so much. I wanted to write an homage, but also express how I feel, which is mostly contained in the first line of the song ‘I’ll sleep when dead’”.
‘New York’ is available now via Sunday Best Recordings.
