The single is the first to be shared for the upcoming EP In All Fairness…
A “perfect ten”? Nah, LENII isn’t interested in pursuing your approval in her new single ‘Regular 10’. The track is the first single to be taken from the forthcoming EP In All Fairness…
Singular and independent, LENII – real name Ellen Murphy – has hit upon a flitting and irregular sound in her latest outing. Switching abruptly between alluring, sentimental pop and high-octane, fist-pumping beats, the track showcases the Irish talent’s unique vocal and displays her more vulnerable side so often hidden by her demeanour.
“’Regular 10′ is the best example of the EP’s theme,” shares Lenii of her latest work. “It’s about pretending you’re doing great when you’re actually hiding all the parts of your life you’re not proud of.
“In fact, I was feeling particularly gloomy the morning I wrote the song. I felt like a mess, looking at everyone on Instagram who appeared to be doing so well. Then, I realized that they all have issues too and Instagram isn’t real life.”
‘Regular 10’ is available now. The new EP In All Fairness… is to be released later in 2020.
