After a jam-packed 2019 full of gigs, Dakota Avenue are ready to drop more recordings into the ether, so without further adieu here’s ‘Petrified’.
These three northern music graduates have a solid three singles under their belts, sold-out shows and a good offering of festival slots too, but they’re only just getting started.
The track lyrically focusses on the social pressure that paparazzi, artistic expectation and self doubt can have on a person. As they put it, “The fear of fame juxtaposed with the passion of placing a meaningful stamp on the music industry.”
Full of energy, unique vocals and much more, we’re sure this isn’t the last that we’ll be hearing off these lads this year.
