Having already garnered acclaim for their energetic and fun live shows, their first single ‘Girlfriend’ does a really nice job of establishing the soft power of their sound and their charismatic and distinctive approach to writing and performing. The track has a tonne of intensity and some really nice moments, while also taking the time to pace itself an lull in places, making for a sound that feels varied and full of life. ‘Girlfriend’ is a really fun and unique release from an outfit who offer something a little different to anything else, but still pack a really catchy and sunny appeal.
