Having emerged in 2020 with the release of ‘Cake Shop’, The Byker Grove Fan Club are an effort that have already established an unmistakably distinctive sound and a penchant for pulling unexpected chaos and fury out of thin air.
Their second EP Feeding Eels has fortunately, done very little to curb the eclectic and frenzied nature of their sound, and new track ‘Talent’ continues to establish the trio’s affectionately named Post Macho Noise Pop, stacked full of all of the malice and unpredictability that you would expect from the outfit. Words don’t really do the chaotic and exhilarating nature of their sound justice, but if your music laced in a sense of hatred and malice, and stacked full of changes of pace that border on being jump scares, then TBGFC are the outfit for you.
