The artist continues to showcase her alluring appeal on her sophomore single
Having immediately made a name for herself with her excellent debut single ‘Obsession’ back in October of last year, rising UK artist Lullabee has followed it up with the thoughtful ‘Home’, a track informed by the sadness and loneliness that the artist felt in the heart of lockdown.
The track brings her experiences to life in illuminating and intimate fashion, complete with a gorgeous orchestral arrangement that feels warm and packed full of life. The softness of the vocals and the relatable nature of the lyrics makes for a track that feels welcoming, packed with little flickers of optimism and charm that resemble moments of hopefulness and light in a time that was so desperate and dark for so many. The track is full of enchanting moments and the artist’s earnest appeal, and provides a gentle reminder of a shared experience that so many of us had to get through in uncertain times.
“I wanted to make a track that connected with the world during a long period of time that was ripped away from us.” Lullabee says of the single. “A time when we didn’t feel connected to anything or anyone, a disaster has destroyed humanity into the present time”
