Maggie Miles shares the emotive new single ‘Deserve This’. The track is the follow-up release to her recent outing ‘WHATDOISAY?’.
Born in Virginia and relocating to Nashville to pursue her music career, Miles has been making waves with her recent spout of music. Her latest track ‘Deserve This’ is no different; attention grabbing, punchy pop, this latest outing is a composed and confident effort.
Led by a commanding vocal, the track is propelled forth by chunky rock grooves, chiming synth work and moody guitars. It has that crossover quality that makes Miles palatable to both the pop and alternative crowd.
“There’s moments where depression can manipulate our thinking into a spiral,” shares Miles of what inspired her new single. “We come to the conclusion that we ‘deserve’ to feel the way we do, that this is something you’ve purposefully caused.
“Sometimes, I for whatever reason, allow negativity to marinate, sinking deeper and deeper into it simply to feel something. This song helped me figure this out.”
