The track was created from a “moment of mental disparity”…
Madison Olds stellar new pop single ‘Best Part of Me’ is the perfect introduction to her sound. The track is the first to be shared from her forthcoming second EP!
Created from a “moment of mental disparity” after a storm hit her writer’s commute to Nashville, the bright pop sound of ‘Best Part of Me’ is at odds with the underlying theme of anxiety. Underpinned by bubbling beats and warm synth tones, the track is an ear worm of an outing that makes for an addictive listen thanks to its catchy chorus and Olds’ vocal. To the singer-songwriter, it feels quite pertinent to the present.
“I can only imagine the anxiety, depression and anger people are feeling right now,” shares Olds. “I think ‘Best Part of Me’ can help to reassure that while it feels like the world is burning or even ending, it’s okay to take a day, cry it out and then get back in the saddle and kick some ass the next day.”
‘Best Part of Me’ is available now.
