The track follows previous release ‘Goodbye Beautiful’…
Grimsby outfit MINT share their energetic and punchy new single ‘Turbulance’. It follows the band’s previous release ‘Goodbye Beautiful’.
Propelled forth by frenetic, rattle-stop drumming and gurning guitars, ‘Turbulence’ is all unbridled energy and gleeful riffs. Wailing and squealing, the melody spikes forth and stabs pointedly around frontman Zak’s barely-contained screech. Marrying catchy choruses with toe-tapping beats and buoyant guitars, ‘Turbulence’ is a fuzzy bundle of joy.
“We grew up with social media all around us and were recounting stories in Jimmy Mac’s tour bus, laughing about our school days with Facebook parties, pictures you weren’t meant to see and finding amazing music,” shares Zak of what sparked the track. “A few days later I was reading about yet another teenager greatly troubled with mental health issues and the role the internet played.
“I had also been keeping up to date about the #MeToo movement and yet another profiled predatory pervert taking advantage of aspiration.”
‘Turbulence’ is available now.
