Written on Valentines Day 2019 by Naipia’s lead singer George, ‘Lonely’ started off as an outlet for that feeling of loneliness and has grown to be an anthem that embraces that feeling – instead choosing to focus on being content with your friends, family and ultimately, yourself. A message we can totally get behind.
The result is now a song of empowerment and comfort that pulls you from those feelings of loneliness. Something that many could find comfort in right now.
The track is a typical indie-anthem with nods to indie-pop-rock heavyweights Catfish and the Bottlemen, with a heavier side that we might be likely to see from acts such as Kings of Leon.
We’re hoping we get to hear more from this exciting new outfit.
