The track is the second single from the artist’s upcoming album following ‘Everything Is Scary’
As we mentioned with the release of her recent single ‘Everything Is Scary’, Nelda‘s concept album is about voluntary displacement, and features various themes arising as a result of moving to another country and having to settle in following interviews with artists from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.
The second single from the release is ‘Home Is Where I Go’, a track co-written with Australian songwriter Etoile Marley. The track utilises the artist’s stirring and engrossing sound to further explores feelings of belonging or lack of, and sees her defiantly exclaiming that wherever you travel to or however far you stray, you can make a home and a place of comfort wherever in the world you are. The jazzy nature of the sound and the artist’s captivating vocals and storytelling make for a captivating listening experience, and the track does a great job of continuing to set the scene and expand upon the themes of the album ahead of its release next month.
