The artist establishes his unique sound on this initial release
ODDA, also known as Oli, has given us a taste of his slow burning, atmospheric sound in the form of his moody and thoughtful debut single ‘Mama’.
The track is the perfect example of how less can often be more, with its brooding nature allowing it to build and create a really melancholy vibe in an organic and deserved way. ‘Mama’ often feels more cathartic than anything else for ODDA, as the artist explores what it is to be human and the way that things can affect your psyche and essentially change your thoughts and feelings. This is a track that sneaks up on you and leaves a rousing, lasting impression. We look forward to see where else ODDA will take this memorable sound.
