Orson Wilds have this intangible, epic quality that seems to manifest itself within all of their work. There is a sense of grandness and occasion that permeates their sound and really elevates it to a memorable and grandiose level.
New single ‘Mother Daughter’ is a shining example of this, with the outfits dual vocals and wall of guitars and drums and keys creating something that feels both poignant and powerfully imposing. The track highlights the outfits knack for crafting uniquely nuanced and layered sounds, seemingly always knowing when to pull back and show restraint and when to lay on a full on aural assault. This is wonderfully creative and fun pop rock that provides us with another encouraging glimpse at Orson Wilds before the release of their debut album.
