Following their recent single ‘Let It Rain‘, dynamic duo Paco Versailles return with the smooth, tropical sound of new single ‘Alive’.

Taking influence from frisky flamenco guitars and that frivolous disco sound, their music seamlessly melds these disparate elements to create an atmosphere that is as intoxicating as it is inviting. Capturing the sticky heat of a Spanish night and propelled forth with a coursing bassline, its playful percussion adds a gleeful undercurrent. Offset with dreamy vocals, it conjures a fantastical view.

“After three months of lockdown, we felt it was appropriate to release our song ‘Alive’,” explain the band – namely guitarist and composer Vahagni and songwriter and producer Ryan Merchant – of their latest outing. “The tune is about meaningful connection, and this quarantine has revealed how we take that for granted most of the time”.

‘Alive’ is available now.
