The new single comes with a slick remix by ETM
Accompanied by a slick remix by ETM, American duo Motion Cntrl share the dreamy pop mysticism of their new single ‘Eros’. Plucked from their forthcoming EP Devotion, this latest track is the first taste of new music debuted in 2020.
Describing their sound as “Blade Runner blues” feels pretty apt with the chilly yet inviting binary of their shoegaze-toned electronica. Elsewhere and underpinned by a restless drum ‘n’ bass beat and swelling synths, the trip-hop inflected ETM remix ebbs and flows as it creates an atmosphere that is wholly alluring.
Melancholy or hopeful, it is up for interpretation, but the omnipresent factor is the low-key and soothing female vocal of the mysteries bi-coastal pair. Take a pew and hit repeat.
