With a chunky sound in the same vein as King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and God Damn, the cult Australian outfit revel in being as loud and unavoidable as possible! Deploying relentless guitar work and unforgiving, pounding drums, ‘Whyalla’ incorporates smatterings of psychedelia, humming synths undercurrents and a churning momentum to capture the essence of the unruly, rural land Down Under.

ā€œI wrote this song a few years back after my mate Racoo asked me to write a song for a road trip compilation she was putting together,” shares Bibby of the track. “I donā€™t think it saw the light of day. I had a lot of help from Wikipediaā€.

‘Whyalla’ is available now via Spinning Top. Peter Bibby’s Dog ActĀ release their new albumĀ Marge on 18th September.
