Becoming a true asset to the ever-growing West Midlands music scene, Alex Ohm is a breathtaking artist that deserves his name in lights.
Working hard over the past few years to create a strong discography, and a name for his art, Alex returns with his finest work to date ‘The Lost Persons Meeting Point’.
This EP is actually the first release from Alex available on a limited edition, eco-friendly, coloured vinyl using recycled off cuts from other vinyl presses, which can you buy from here.
Talking about his EP, Alex shared with us, “It’s quite a personal EP that I think a lot of people will be able to relate to in their own way. It’s a body of songs that the band and I are immensely proud of.
We’ve been sitting on it for a while now, eager to get it out there but for one reason or another we’ve had to rearrange the release date. We can’t wait for people to hear it in its entirety.”
With previous sensational singles ‘Going Nowhere Fast’ and ‘Hours’ being the first two tracks on the release to test the waters, you can already tell that this EP is something special.
An electrifying performance throughout the indie release from Alex’s band, there’s moments of love, solitude and reassurance, and comes across as a comforting cuddle within these dark times.
There’s something for everyone within ‘The Lost Persons Meeting Point’, and that’s what makes it so magic. You’ve got elements of alternative rock and nudges towards the sounds of Radiohead and the Pixies, to indie rock artists such as Jamie T and even Catfish and the Bottlemen – Alex Ohm’s energy is consistent.
As for the vocals… out of this world.
