Indie-rock artist Andy Martin is clearly stating he’s one to watch in uplifting new anthem ‘Heat Of It All’
Out everywhere on the 6th of August, you can hear Andy Martin’s upcoming single exclusively above. If you haven’t heard of Andy Martin before, the rising star was discovered by James Morrison during a live performance and invited him to study at the Mt Gambier Academy.
Creating highly energetic indie-rock with a twist of pop in the mix, ‘Heat Of It All’ provides an elevating sound within the current madness of the world.
Carefree and feeling quite youthful, Andy Martin draws inspiration from the likes of Sam Fender, John Mayer and Gretta Ray. Marking this his third release to date, the songwriter already has over 80,000 streams on Spotify alone.
‘Heat Of It All’ is hot, feisty and fuelled with charm.
The emerging singer-songwriter states, “Most of the songs I write come together in a matter of hours. ‘Heat of it All’ was not one of those. I actually wrote the hook/chorus for this around 3/4 years ago. I had been playing around with progressions and some of the verse lyrics.
That is why I am so proud of this song. It shows how I have evolved as a songwriter of the last few years. If you want to dance, cry, laugh or hold somebody, this ones for you (so everyone!).“
Illuminating a personal journey of moving forwards in a motionless relationship, there’s enlightenment of hope shining throughout the track’s core.
