Anna Wolf teams up with producer Pop Morrison to write title track for the new feature film ‘The Unfamiliar’
Multi-award winning songstress Anna Wolf is known for her mysterious songwriting, and teaming up with music producer Pop Morrison puts the cherry on top of an exotic cocktail. Both artists known for their artistic flair and charisma, ‘The Unfamiliar’ sounds like it would fit perfectly on the Killing Eve soundtrack too.
Anna mentioned, “We took a metaphorical approach with the song to convey the forever-building eerie tone of the film. The lyrically-drivensong is also a homage to the nostalgia that the film evoked in me as a fan of The Shining and Hitchcock’s Psycho”
The Unfamiliar features dark mannerisms with elegant indie-folk imagery. Set for release tomorrow, the track gives an insight to what the film may portray… mesmerising and quaint.
Pop Morrison added, “The song sets a tone before you’ve even seen the film, the same way the movie leaves a mark after you’ve seen it“
The film will be released in the United States on 21st August, with the UK theatrical release to commence in September. ‘The Unfamiliar’ becomes a friend, and something to hold close to your heart.
