Plymouth based indie artist Chris Linton unleashes his second single ‘Monster’ into the wild
Rising soulful indie act Chris Linton is back with his sophomore single, ‘Monster‘.
Propelled by previous success with his songwriting in the gaming world, Chris Linton is an esteemed singer-songwriter with over 240 million streams across Spotify and YouTube.
With now releasing his own music, he recently has been involved writing sessions with the likes of Sleepwlkrs, Louis Mattrs (G-Eazy, SG Lewis, Maisie Peters), Hayla (Example, Wilkinson) and with Gabrielle Aplin that have helped Chris redefine his sound.
Speaking about the new release, Chris shares, “Monster’ is about making strides towards self-acceptance and ultimately overcoming your own demons. The opening line is a strong statement about the need to confront any darkness within us; ‘Goodbye. I’m saying, I’m saying it’s time’.
Whilst hard-hitting the lyrics have a vulnerability to them; acknowledging that we have demons feels scary but it’s the first step towards healing and that’s something that I know a lot of people will relate to.”
Effortlessly original, this pop-rock infused single is armed with electronica under its wings, and takes flight just before the first-minute mark.
