Weaving through multiple genres when they create music, Damp Matches are known for their atmospheric influences.

A refreshing sound for this year, the band are looking to become a distinctive act on the ever-growing UK live circuit.

The innovative number is far from nothing, this song is definitely something to be proud of.

Soaring through an eclectic noise, there are ferocious guitar riffs, highly energetic drums and one hell of a vocal.

Captivating a live-sound without their studio work, which is hard in itself, the track reminisce Wolf Alice and Paramore.

The band say; “Sweet Nothing is about the struggles that substance abuse can impose on your mental and physical health, and how in turn that affects the lives of those around you and your relationships with them”

This track demanded my attention and it’s never letting it go.
