‘Mirror Mirror’ on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all? We think it’s Dictator’s brand new single
Scottish quartet Dictator are back with their immersive new single ‘Mirror Mirror‘ out tomorrow via Blackhall Records.
Known for their signature indie rock sound with layers of vibrance and psychedelic moments, the new single ‘Mirror Mirror’ pushes boundaries in a way no other band does.
Produced by Adam Warrington (YUNGBLUD) and drawing inspiration from the likes of Primal Scream, Gorillaz and Alt-J, Dictator have received previous support from the likes of XS Noize, With Guitars, Radio X and BBC Introducing.
Speaking about the meaning behind the track, Dictator share, “‘Mirror Mirror’ is a song about the unhealthy relationship today’s generation hold with social media.
How everything is not as portrayed, and how the average person is struggling to live up to these unrealistic expectations, putting constant pressure on themselves, which ultimately ends in a state of poor mental health.”
A statement aimed at the evil side of social media, this valid single couldn’t have come at a better time for the world.
Destined to rock your world, ‘Mirror Mirror’ is available to exclusively stream at the top of this page.
