Flawes unveil live video for their single “Still Not Ready” as a thanks to their fans for their constant support
Released via Red Bull Records, the visuals for Flawes’ ‘Still Not Ready’ is exactly what the world needed amidst the current uncertain times. Taking the decision to postpone their upcoming headline tour, they’ve released the live footage as a thanks to their fans for the love they constantly share. With their debut album ‘Highlights’ cooking up a storm back in January, the exciting London based band have had all speed ahead with their music for 3 years.
Frontman JC said: “All the live footage in the video was shot during our last tour across Europe supporting AJR! Seeing as our headline shows have been postponed we thought we’d put this together to remember those good times. We can’t wait to play our rescheduled headline shows for later in the year!”

Hey guys, hope you’re keeping well in the current climate! The visuals for Still Not Ready are heartwarming to see in this difficult time. How are you keeping yourself busy in isolation? Still songwriting we hope, but separately?
Thank you! The shows that the video were filmed at were so much fun, we really can’t wait to get out there and tour again! It’s definitely a tough time for the music industry, but it’s amazing to see how musicians are responding. There are so many cool live stream performances happening, and it seems like fans are really engaging with it too. We’re created a series of covers called the ‘Isolation Sessions’. We’re taking on a song each week, and recording our parts remotely, so we really have no idea how each of us is going to approach each tune. We’re continuously writing music too, and working remotely seems to be working fine!
Are you planning something special for your return once the outbreak is over? Obviously, we don’t know when that’ll be yet but do you have anything in the pipelines?
We’re planning on touring as soon as we possibly can, unfortunately due to the virus, we had to cancel a bunch of shows in the US and a full UK tour, but I can tell you that when we come back they will be the biggest and the best shows we’ve done. We want to get back to doing what we are in the ‘Still Not Ready’ video as soon as possible!
‘Highlights’ was highly anticipated and we can’t get enough of it still two months on, how’s the current state of the world impacted your songwriting?
A thanks so much, that was always our aim for our debut album; To have an album that stands the test of time. The dream would be for you to say that to us in a year/5 years/10 years from now!
We never really stop writing as we like to keep a continuous stream of being creative but this temporary pause in the live side of things has definitely allowed us to spend more time working on new songs 100%. When I’m not writing about relationships I naturally gravitate towards uplifting positive themes. I feel the world needs that kind of song now more than ever too. Perhaps we’ll have a new Flawes release sooner than previously planned, who knows?!
