Emerging rock quartet Flechettes clearly state they’re ones to watch in new single ‘Man of the Hour’
Up and coming rock outfit Flechettes unleash new anthem ‘Man of the Hour’ into the world. Fast-paced and easily worthy of chart success, the track is fuelled with indie-infused guitar riffs and is destined to leave you dancing away.
Based in Wigan, this youthful number blends teenage angst with a mature songwriting ability and illuminates how strong the Northern music scene truly is.
On the inspiration behind the track, frontman Jack explains, ‘Man of the Hour’ was inspired by those feelings of insignificance most of experience when you’re young and out on the town, desperate to impress anyone and everyone. In a way maybe it’s an admission of feeling insecure when an image is still a massive part of everyone’s lives and defines how we act around people, even our friends.
It’s definitely a song I’ve wanted to write for a long time, and we’re so happy as a band to finally get a real hard-hitting tune out there.”
With every member contributing to the songwriting as much as the next person, ‘Man of the Hour’ is a band effort and no one’s ever left behind.
