There’s no stopping post-punk trio LIINES in their elevating new release ‘Keep On Going’
Following on from an exceptional couple of years for the LIINES, the powerhouse three-piece are back with a new no-nonsense single ‘Keep On Going’.
Out worldwide tomorrow, “Keep On Going” is the perfect set starter and definitely the type of track that would be the perfect introduction into the world of LIINES.
An urgent release with abundant positive nature, the track spreads an important message we all need to hear – wherever we like it or not.
When talking about the single, singer and guitarist LIINES share, “We filmed the video for Keep on Going during our first time playing live to people since the pandemic hit – at Farmfest in Somerset and FestEVOL at Future Yard, Birkenhead – both in the same weekend at the end of July.
It felt like the perfect opportunity to capture us back doing what we love doing best – playing live music – and the adventure of packing up the van and driving across the country to new places. The song’s message is just that: Keep on Going. We’re back doing what we love the most and we loved playing to people enjoying our music – back doing what they love too, dancing and enjoying being back together; the atmosphere of both festivals was amazing.
It was also the first time we’d played live to an audience with our new bassist Anna Donigan, and so it was great to be able to capture these moments as part of this video too. The video was filmed and edited by the incredible Manchester-based talent, Sarah Jenny Johnson.”
Produced by their long-time collaborator Paul Tipler (Stereolab, Elastica, Idlewild, Placebo), “Keep On Going” certainly moves the trio in the right direction.
