UK artist and activist mimike reveals intimate number ‘Abundance’

Speaking about the release, Lucy shares, “Abundance emerged out of a need for connection. I wanted to write a song about daring to imagine more, and daring to reach for it.
Abundance, to me, is such a transformative concept – in the song, it’s about overcoming the fear of scarcity, overcoming this impulse for self-protection, because these feelings serve no one, and stand in the way of a whole world of possibilities.
I feel like it’s the perfect debut song, because through it, I’m challenging myself to be brave, and just do the thing!”
Lucy cites her past decade of climate activism as a strong inspiration for the song and you can hear that throughout.
The song is hopeful and an essential listen to social change and transformation.
