Indie trio Morning Silk explores how vital making art is in new single ‘Right Back’
Morning Silk share their first single ‘Right Back‘ off their upcoming release – and it’s a dream-pop infused contender with vivid sensibilities throughout.
Specialising in creating an indie soundscape with psychedelic elements to portray its complex story, the track shows the parallel drawn between outgrowing your love for making art and outgrowing a person.
Speaking about the colourful release, Morning Silk shares, “I wrote this song as a response to people who fall out of love with their craft.
I am specifically referencing music, but it really pertains to any sort of artistic practice. This is the first single off of the debut full-length album.”
Recorded at their own studio in New York, Robert Norris and Matthew Lancester of Morning Silk, and Eamon Ford were involved in the production.
A visualising story as well as auditory, “Right Back” is truly a breath of fresh air.
